Grand gathering planned for 10/12. A new family wants to join us. While most of us will pay all at once with our reservation, they want to book this october and make monthly payments over the next 12 months. Will Disney do this?

    Hi Denise,

How fun that your Grand Gathering keeps growing!

Here's how this will work: The room rates haven't been released yet for 2012. However, you can still make "room only" reservations up to 499 days in advance. They will give you an approximate cost (based on current rates) and will adjust the reservation accordingly once released. To book a room only reservation, they will only need to pay for the first nights room and tax in advance to hold it. After that, they have until 45 days prior to arrival to pay the reservation off in full. They can make payments at any time that works for them up until that date. If they wait until October to book, the 2012 rates will likely be set. At that point, if they are going to book a "Magic Your Way Package" (which includes room and park tickets) then they only need a $200 deposit at the time of booking.

    Hope this helps! Happy planning,
