we have a grand gathering going in august. lots of age range. so we will split-up. we have been to disney trying to find one person in the crowd is hard , much less groups. any places at each park that is easier to find people in than others, besides food.

It would seem that the most obvious place to meet in each park would be the big icon (castle at Magic Kingdom, sorcerer's hat at Hollywood Studios), but those are actually probably not the best suggestions, Paula, because they're typically huge and provide lots of opportunity to miss each other.  My recommendation would be to choose a less obvious marker in each park where everyone should meet at predetermined times.  Here are some suggestions:

    • The Walt Disney bust near Echo Lake at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • The flagpole at Magic Kingdom
    • Under the Test Track sign at Epcot, or near the talking seagulls outside of The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    • Under the giant green dinosaur outside of the DINOSAUR attraction at Animal Kingdom
Ideally, you will choose a very specific spot, making it easier for each person in your party to find each other.  Skip the most crowded choices, and opt, instead, for somewhere obvious, but not too crowded.  I hope that helps!
