    Vanessa from CA Asked

Does the Grand Californian accept debit cards for the security deposit when checking in?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

I'm so glad to hear that you'll be staying at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa during your upcoming trip. So long as your debit card has the MasterCard or Visa logo, you should be able to use it for security deposit when checking in. Be aware that the hotel may place a temporary hold on your debit card. Please plan accordingly as your funds may be tied up for the time being.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue planning your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Vanessa. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
