While we now have an 8th grader in the house pulling her out of school is no longer an option. Our top choices are the week before or after Christmas or the 3rd week in March. We also have a toddler to consider. Any thoughts on which would the best?

I am right there with you, planning around school can be tough.  However you are looking at two great times of the year.  By coming in December, you and your family will get to experience the holidays with the incredible Disney magic.  The streets are beautifully decorated and it is so festive.  I can only imagine that your toddler would be completely enthralled with the lights and holiday music playing throughout the parks.  The weather is also normally very comfortable.  However March is a great time too!  Although there could be crowds due to spring break, my family and I love going this time of year.  It is warm but not too hot, so if you must wait in line for an attraction, it's at least a comfortable wait!  No matter which you choose, plan your days, take advantage of Fast Pass and have a magical trip.
