I have gotten the photopass before and loved it. Was even able to get the ride photos on the last time we got it. But now it is memory makers and I'm not sure what the difference is. Can you tell me what to expect to be different? Do we still get the CD

    Hello, Debra!

Photos are a huge part of our vacations, so Memory Maker is always a "must-do" purchase for our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. You will still use Disney's PhotoPass Service for your photos, but now you can purchase Memory Maker that will allow you to download all of the media from your vacation. Just make sure that all the members of your party are linked in your My Disney Experience account under the Friends and Family list so you don't miss any media if you split up during your vacation. The best part is you only need to purchase one Memory Maker entitlement for your family.

During your vacation, you will find PhotoPass photographers located throughout the theme parks, water parks and at most Character Dining experiences. To collect your photos, just scan your MagicBand or PhotoPass Card and the photos will magically appear in your account. You will also find that select on-ride photos and videos, as well as MagicShots and Animated MagicShots, will be in your account. The only way to purchase these videos is with Memory Maker!

Your PhotoPass photos are active for 45 days from the date taken. You can edit, add fun borders and even add a Character signature to the photos. Once you are ready to activate your Memory Maker entitlement, you can download your photos and videos (media) as many times as you wish during the 30-day window. For an additional cost, you can purchase the Memory Maker Archival Disc that will include all the media in your account.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Enjoy making magical memories with your family!
