What is a good plan for 7 days at disney. I plan to attend magic kingdom and animal kingdom park. I have girls 8 and 10.

Hi Julie!  SInce you have seven days, I would really recommend visiting all four of the major theme parks.  There are quite a few attractions at both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios that may interest your girls.  The first time my family and I went to Walt Disney World we opted not to visit Animal Kingdom because I didn't think it had as much to offer as the other parks based on the interests of my family.  Since then, we've visited WDW many times and the Animal Kingdom has quickly become one of our family's favorite parks.  Moral of the story is that you might be surprised at how much there is to see and do at the parks that seem to have the least to offer.

As for a general touring plan, here are my tips:

*Devote two full days to touring the Magic Kingdom.  This is the park that embodies Disney magic and you'll want to have enough time to experience the attractions.

*Spend a full day at Epcot.  This park is huge and requires a decent amount of walking.  When my girls were those ages, they really liked exploring Innoventions, but they didn't care as much for the World Showcase.

*Devote at least a half day to Hollywood Studios.  The Fantasmic! show there shouldn't be missed.  Your kids might also like dining at the Sci-Fi where movie clips play on a giant screen and the tables are fashioned as cars pulled up to a drive-in theater.

*Spend a whole day at the Animal Kingdom.  Be sure to save time to see the Lion King show; it's well worth it!

*Sprinkle some "down days" into your itinerary.  During that time you can relax by the pool, walk around Downtown Disney, or maybe play a game of miniature golf.  Those slower paced days will really help to keep up the energy level for your whole party.

I hope these suggestions will help you to plan a magical trip!
