    Guillermo from Cundinamarca Asked

Hello good night, I travel with my wife and daughter on a vacation where we took the Disney Dream cruise and want to know if the crew speaks Spanish and whether the activities to give the child instructions in Spanish. Thanks

    Hola, Guillermo!

Because Disney Cruise Line (DCL) crew members hail from all over the world, there are many languages spoken throughout the ships. Most likely, someone will be able to interpret for your child and how the counselors can best meet their needs when you're not around. To be confident, make sure you note the language she speaks when you register her for the Oceaneer's Club/Lab and on your reservation. Plus, when you visit the youth clubs on Embarkation Day, you'll want to introduce your child to the counselors and ask if there is someone who can interpret.

Also, to make you feel at ease, all four of my children -- who speak English and only a little Spanish -- have made many friends who speak little or no English while at the DCL youth clubs. Children all speak the universal language of "play!" I hope this helps you plan and relieves any concerns.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
