Good morning. I read somewhere that there will not be Star Wars weekends this year, and am curious if last year was it, or if they will continue in 2017 and beyond. Thanks!

    Hi James,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Although Star Wars Weekends have been discontinued you'll be glad to know that Guests who are Star Wars fans can now experience the "Force" every day at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

You can meet Chewbacca and Kylo Ren at Star Wars Launch Bay and also explore special exhibits and get a behind the scenes look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens. You can launch into hyperspace on Star Tours - The Adventure Continues and then train to be a Jedi at Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. You can then end your day by watching Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular; the nightly fireworks show set to Star Wars music. Starting in April, there will also be a stage show called "Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away" and The March of the First Order Stormtrooper procession led by Captain Phasma that will take place in the Park multiple times each day.

There are so many exciting changes and additions taking place at Disney's Hollywood Studios that there very well may be a chance that other "out of this world" experiences will be offered soon. I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog frequently for updates and new event information.
