Good morning. My family and I are planning a vacation to Disneyland from the 12-14 of June this year and I would like to know if we have to prepay for our dining reservations? Our 60 day mark is coming up quickly and I can’t find that info anywhere. TIA

    Hi there, Angie!

It sounds like you may be familiar with the Dining Plans offered at Walt Disney World Resort, which require prepayment. At the Disneyland Resort, no prepayment of dining reservations is required, and you can make dining reservations online, on the Disneyland app, or by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463. If you’re searching for reservations online, click on the restaurant of choice, then look for the blue “Check Availability” box on the right-hand side. Enter your preferred Date, Time, and Party Size. Your search will display the Available Times at the bottom of the blue box. Click on your preferred time match, then the site will direct you to Sign In to your Disney account, or to create one if you haven’t already. Here, you’ll need to enter a credit card in order to guarantee your reservation. This is just used as a place holder – your credit card won’t be charged unless you miss your reservation or don’t cancel within the cancellation period. If that happens, Resort Restaurants charge a per-person cancellation fee. Each Restaurant maintains its own cancellation policy, so you’ll want to check the policy when you make your reservation.

If you’ll be making several dining reservations, I recommend adding a credit card to your profile for your convenience. This is especially helpful when making reservations or mobile ordering on the Disneyland app!

Have fun mapping out your dream meals at the Disneyland Resort... I can smell the Churros now!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
