    Katherine from CT Asked

Good morning! We are very familiar to the fast pass plus system in WDW, but I'm confused about how the fast pass and maxpass system works at DL. Do you have to run around to each attraction to get the paper pass and is there a limit you can in a day?

    Greetings Katherine!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The paper passes you mention that would print at FASTPASS machines with a return time for the attraction have been discontinued.
FASTPASSES are now tied to your Park ticket. They work the same way, except your FASTPASS information will now be stored on your ticket.
Now, the new MaxPass Service basically eliminates the need to run around to each attraction for a FASTPASS.
    Here's the scoop on MaxPass:
    * Disney MaxPass costs $10 per ticketed guest, per day. You can purchase it on the Disneyland Mobile App. It does not activate until you enter the Park (advance reservations similar to those available for WDW guests are not possible at this time).
    * With MaxPass, guests can obtain FASTPASS reservations using the Disneyland Mobile App for all attractions where FASTPASS is available, except for the World of Color and Fantasmic! nighttime shows. Keep in mind, you can manage your entire party's FASTPASSES on your device, as long as each member of your party has purchased MaxPass.
Now, you asked about a daily limit. Basically, the same rules apply. Guests can only have one FASTPASS at a time. This means you cannot reserve a new FASTPASS either in person or through the MaxPass Service if you haven't used your previous one.
    I hope this helps.
