What are good items to order from Garden Grocer when traveling with a 21 month old? Any toddler items post people forget would be handy?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sara. I'm so glad you stopped by!

Your heart is going to just melt when you see your toddler experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. You're sure to make lots of precious memories together!

My family always places an order with Garden Grocer prior to our arrival. I love this convenient service because it saves me from packing snacks, drinks, and baby-care items in our suitcases. I also love that they deliver my order right to my Disney Resort hotel! As a mom of three (one of whom is almost 2-years old) I typically place a pretty sizable order. My first priority is to order on-the-go breakfast items. We usually get to the theme parks for park opening, so that doesn't leave much time in the morning for breakfast. I order mini-donuts (it's a vacation, right?), individual servings of cereal, breakfast bars, yogurt tubes, and fresh fruit. When the kids get up in the morning, we get them dressed and we hit the ground running with breakfast in hand! My second priority when placing an order with Garden Grocer is to order snacks. Handing one of my kiddos a snack seems to solve a lot of problems, so I'm sure to take plenty of options into the theme parks with us. Great park snacks include trail mix, granola bars, fruit strips, Goldfish crackers, and pretzels. Don't forget to order beverages too! I always order a case of water and juice boxes. We take at least two drinks per person into the theme parks with us per day. Lastly, I add baby-care essentials to my order like sunscreen, wipes, and diapers. These are things I could easily pack, but ordering them through Garden Grocer saves me valuable space in our luggage!

I have a few suggestions for things that may come in handy during your stay. Pack (or order) a box of Ziploc bags. These are good to have on hand for all sorts of reasons! I always pack a change of clothes for the kids in our park bag. Whether they get soaked, get sick, or have an accident, a Ziploc bag is a perfect place to store any clothing they change out of. Another must-have I always make sure to pack is a Mommy Hook Stroller Clip. In theory, the storage space underneath the stroller should be sufficient for a day in the theme parks, but before we know it, we're out of space. Bags of souvenirs are often hanging from our Mommy Hook Stroller Clip! Finally, be sure to pack a changing pad. I've made the mistake (more than once, I'm afraid!) of forgetting a changing pad. The Baby Care Centers have large, disposable changing pads available at each of the changing tables inside, but the restrooms throughout the parks do not!

I hope this was helpful, Sara. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little one in tow!
