Is it a good idea to do stand by in the morning and reserve fast pass for after noon? We are going November 11-19 2015 and not sure if that is one of the busier times of year

Hello Lewis!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Everyone plans their vacations a little differently, and I am sure my fellow panelists all have different opinions on your question.  I, however, never make my FastPass+ selections for first thing in the morning.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you are able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours.  Those extra magic hours allow you to enter a particular park early or stay late depending on the schedule each day.  I try to plan my vacation days around which park is going to open early for those extra magic hours.  I always try to be on the first bus to the parks which typically will leave the resort 1 hour before park opening. Getting to the parks early allows my family to ride our favorite attractions several times throughout the morning with little to no wait time. Around 10:00 a.m. is when I always notice the parks start to get busier.  By this time I've already done several items on my to do list at each park.  Because we do mornings this way, I always make our FastPass+ selections for after lunch time when the parks are more crowded.  I use them for the big thrill rides I know my family will want to do again or a meet and greet with Elsa and Anna.

I hope this gives you some idea on how you might want to plan your day. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

    Happy planning!
