Good evening. My family and I will be going to Epcot on July 10th....so once we pay for the additional ticket, once you get inside the park, other than dining, are there any other additional fees? Also, is it pretty handicap accessible

    Hi Vickie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this excellent question to us!

You will be happy to know that your theme park admission includes the Attractions as well as Character and Entertainment Experiences in Epcot. There are several special tours that require a different fee in Epcot.  One of these includes Epcot Seas Adventures - DiveQuest. Check out the Epcot Special Events and Tours for a complete list of additional experiences.

My family enjoys Epcot because it generally does not feel crowded. As the second largest theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort, it is vast. This space contributes to its overall feeling of accessibility for guests with mobility issues. If someone in your party needs to rent a wheelchair or electric conveyance vehicle (ECV), Epcot does have wheelchair rentals available.

My husband has difficulty walking but does not use a wheelchair so Epcot is challenging because it is so extensive in size. We typically pick a section or two that are close in proximity on each visit and just do those sections for our time there.

Vickie, you may also find the Epcot Guide for Guests with Disabilities helpful. The guide does note that some restaurants and shops may have line queues that might be difficult for guests in wheelchairs to maneuver. Otherwise, I believe you will find the park quite accessible!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
