Good Day! Can a Bariatric patient join me and my party of 8, at a buffet meal and not eat?

    Hello Leigh Ann,

Thanks for writing! My family has enjoyed some of our absolute most favorite meals at Disney's buffet restaurants.  In fact, we have a trip that I am currently packing for and we have reservations at Boma - Flavors of Africa and Chef Mickey's on our itinerary!  We can't wait.  I'm excited that you will soon enjoy a similar fabulous meal!

Guests at Disney dining venues are charged dining credits if they are on a Disney Dining Plan (or cash if they are not) for meals consumed and not for taking up a seat.  Therefore, if you openly communicate with your Disney server, your friend can certainly join you for your meal.  If they do chose to eat something small, however, they will be charged the adult price for the buffet.  However, if you are clear with your server at the beginning of your meal, you should have no problem.

    Have a magical trip!
