    Danielle from TX Asked

good afternoon, I have a questions regarding dining. My daughter has severe food allergies that causes psoriasis to cover her body. She is unable to eat any processed foods-gluten, sugar, eggs or dairy. Where are the best places to fed her? thank you

    Hi Danielle!

As the mom to a little one with severe food allergies, I know how challenging it can be to find safe and tasty dining options during vacation. In our experience, the Chefs and Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have done a fantastic job accommodating my son's Special Dietary Requirements. With your daughter's mix of food allergies, I would recommend that you contact the Special Diets Team by emailing them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com, as they will be able to give you information about how to best accommodate your daughter's specific allergies during your vacation.

In my experience, I have found that table service restaurants are better equipped to accommodate multiple food allergies because the have access to larger kitchens and pantries than quick service and counter service restaurants. Some of our best experiences at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants where we have accommodated my son's allergies have been at California Grill, Chef Mickey's and Kona Cafe, but the Special Diets Team should be able to give you some specific recommendations about accommodating your daughter's needs. Wherever you choose to dine, be sure to add your daughter's allergies to your reservation when you book it online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Also, when you arrive at your reservation, remind your server of her allergies and ask to speak to the Chef to help you order a safe meal for her.

Let me know if you have other questions as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
