Good Afternoon Moms!! I LOVE DisneyWorld! I go and feel like a little kid all over again! My mom and I are trying to plan our 1st DisneyWorld trip with my 4 year old daughter. We have NO idea where to start!! Can someone please please please help!!

Hi, Tiffany! I am beyond honored to assist you with your first Walt Disney World Resort visit.

Step #1: Hakuna matata! We are here to help you every step of the way.

Step #2: Create a My Disney Experience account.

Step #3: Pick your dates. I would suggest visiting in early-mid September when the crowd levels are at their lowest. Another good time to visit is mid-late January, though it can be a bit chilly in the evenings and early mornings.

Step #4: Choose your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. There are three resort categories to meet every budget: value, moderate and deluxe. Take a look at what each has to offer. Once your room is booked, you can customize your MagicBands!

Step #5: Decide if the Disney Dining Plan is right for you. Also start looking at Table-Service restaurants to decide if you would like to try any during your stay. You can make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival - this is highly recommended.

Step #6: Research the different attractions, character experiences, and entertainment available at all the Theme Parks to decide what will be on your 'must do' list. Keep in mind you can't fit it all in - I still haven't experienced everything! You will be able to make FastPass+ reservations for your top picks 60 days before your arrival if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel (30 days if you are not).

If you have any additional questions, please come back and visit us. We would love to help!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
