Are the gondola's open or will they be open in October when we visit? Will you be able to take a stroller on open or will we have to take our infant out and close the stroller?

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I visited Walt Disney World Resort last October and had an amazing time – I loved the autumn magic in the theme parks, and the weather was warm but gorgeous during my visit. I’m so excited for you!

The Disney Skyliner, featuring fabulous Disney-themed gondolas that will transport Guests through the skies between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and select resorts, is set to open in fall 2019. An opening date has not yet been announced, so be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog, as they’ve been doing a great job keeping us posted on the Disney Skyliner’s progress.

We also don’t know whether strollers will be able to roll straight on to the gondolas or whether they will need to be folded. This video from the Disney Parks Blog makes it look like there’s room to roll a stroller on without folding it, but we’re still waiting for official logistics. I’m looking forward to hearing more soon, and I’m sending you and all the stroller-pushers out there my pixie-dusted wishes that you’ll be able to roll the stroller right on board, like you can do on the monorail.

I hope you make so many magical memories with your baby, Lauren! Please take a look at the Planning Guide for Parents of Preschool Kids & Little Ones for so much good advice, from where to find the Baby Care Centers to which attractions are favorites with the littlest Mouseketeers. I will never forget the wonder in my son’s eyes when he first met Mickey Mouse, and I know you are going to have so many special moments together in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
