My goal is this: once we begin our vacation at DW, I'd like us to not have to drive or vehicle to get around. We plan to stay at Pop Cent, visiting WDW and AK while also eating at Chef Mickie. Is this an obtainable goal? (do not want to pay cab)

    Hi Jasmine,

I am happy to report that you can absolutely leave the driving to Disney once you arrive at your resort!  Pop Century Resort, like all Disney properties has transportation to and from all four of the major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) as well as to Downtown Disney and the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon).  To get to any of these locations, simply wait at the appropriate "bus stop" (you will receive a resort map upon check-in with bus locations) and hop on board!  You can also use Disney transportation to travel to other resorts for dining reservations.  There are no buses that travel between resorts, so to accomplish this, you will need to use one of the parks as a "hub" and transfer to your final destination.  For your meal at Chef Mickey's, for example, you will take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, and then either walk to the Contemporary Resort (where Chef Mickey's is located) via a short walkway from the park, or hop on a resort monorail and exit at the Contemporary.

If you have any questions regarding how to travel to other resorts or anywhere on Disney property, simply ask for assistance at the front desk of your resort, and the Cast Members on staff will be glad to assist you.

    Have a wonderful trip!
