How do I go about reserving FP+ options for my family trip using the child swap option? Do we need to reserve a FP+ for everyone or just the first two riders? I've never used child swap so I'm really confused

    Hello Angel!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  If Guests in your party don’t want to board an attraction or don't meet the height requirement, then I suggest using the Rider Switch service. One adult can wait with the non-rider while the rest of the party experiences the attraction. The waiting adult can then board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again when another adult in the party returns to supervise the child or children who do not ride.

In order to use Rider Switch with FastPass+ selections, those in the party riding the attraction first would need to reserve a FastPass+ selection using My Disney Experience. You can ask for a Rider Switch pass at the FastPass+ entrance. The waiting adult would not need a FastPass+ reservation to ride afterwards, just the Rider Switch Pass. I would suggest measuring your child before your vacation and be aware of what attractions he will not be able to ride.

There are also excellent uses of FastPass+ selections that your entire party can experience if you don't want to split up such as Peter Pan's Flight, The Jungle Cruise, or meeting a favorite Disney Character. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon.

    Have a magical, fantastical vacation!
