Do I go to Magic Kingdom or Epcot for new years eve?

Hi Jackie...this is a tough question to answer to anyone because both parks will be unbelievable but both offer a completely different experience!

The Magic Kingdom is certainly the park to go to with your family of younger children.  This is also the first park to close to capacity on New Years Eve so if this is your choice then head there in the morning and plan for a long day.  The attractions will be crowded with the lines long but if you go just to relax and enjoy the experience and not so much do all of the rides then you will be fine.  Dining reservations at one of the five locations is best but if you can't secure any at this late date then try eating at off hours to avoid the masses. Find a spot early for parade watching and know where you want to be for the fireworks that evening!  There is no alcohol served anywhere in this park making it the best family experience for this special night.

My park of choice if you are adults only or traveling with older children is EPCOT.  This is a fun park   to be in on New Years Eve as you can travel from country to country helping each of them celebrate when the clock strikes midnight at home! This park will also be crowded so leave strollers at home if possible as traffic jams can happen at those points where the walkways narrow in some of the countries.  With alcohol being served throughout the World Showcase this is definitely more geared to adults then children.  The fireworks in the park will be spectacular and any spot along the water is perfect!

Enjoy this great celebration wherever you choose to be!
