I want to go to DW towards the end of June this year. Is it too late to start booking my Disney vacation?

Hi Yelany, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm sure I speak for the other moms on the Panel when I say it's never, ever too late to plan a trip to Walt Disney World!

That said, you do have a few decisions to make. First, when do you want to go, and for how long? Once you've narrowed it down, you can go ahead and buy your tickets online, or right from the My Disney Experience app.

Next, decide where you want to stay. If you choose a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can take advantage of benefits like Extra Magic Hours and the ability to choose FastPass+ attractions up to 60 days in advance. Since you're traveling in late June, your 60-day window for FastPass+ selections will be opening in a few days, so you're just in time!

If there are any special dining reservations you'd like to make, you can do that now, too. While some of the most popular spots may be hard to get on shorter notice, you can either keep trying to book the hot spots as other Guests cancel, or try some off-the-beaten-path places you may not have tried yet. And don't overlook counter service meals! My family only does one or two dining reservations per trip, since we tend to nosh on counter service and snack items.

You still have plenty of time for a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Yelany, and it can be as planned or as spontaneous as you like. If you have any questions as you're making your plans, please stop by again and ask away. We love to help!

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
