hi. when we go to DLR our family of 4 will be there with another family of 4. However, our friends have a hard time walking and will be slower to the line than we are. Are we allowed to run to the line, and hold a place in line for them?

    Hi, Angie!

I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort with another family! Some of my favorite visits have been with our close family friends. It’s even more fun to enjoy the theme parks with others and watch our kids’ excitement as they discover the Disney magic together.

For your safety and the safety of other Guests, the Disneyland Resort asks that you refrain from running at all times. If you’re concerned about getting FASTPASSES for an attraction in a timely manner, it might be better to send just one person from your party with everyone’s park tickets to the FASTPASS distribution machines. If you’re all planning on waiting in a stand-by queue together and you find that some of your group falls behind, it’s usually not a problem to politely ask the Guests in between you to allow the slower part of your party to pass so you can be reunited.  If anyone in your group has serious mobility or endurance issues, the Disneyland Resort offers wheelchair and Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) rentals for use in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

I hope this information is helpful, Angie. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
