Hi! Want to go to Disney w/ family Mar. 3-10 but have been unable to book a package because of the 45 days in advance payment. Can I book a room and add the tickets and dining before we would go? Was looking to stay at POFQ, good choice? Thanks

Hi Wendi! You can definitely book a room only reservation and then turn it into a package. There is really no need to turn it into a package, however, unless you want to get a Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Dining Plan requires you to be on a package and you have to add it a couple of days before arriving; you cannot wait until you get there. However, if you decide to skip the Dining Plan, then just hold off on getting tickets until you arrive at Walt Disney World. There's really no financial advantage to getting them early unless you have a discount (some discounts do require you to be on a package). With regards to Port Orleans French Quarter, it is a favorite of many guests. It is the smallest of the Moderate Resorts which is a good thing. However, it does not have an on site restaurant and it's slide at the pool is too small for Tweens and up. My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside. I hope this helps! Write back if you have any more questions!
