I would like to go to Chef Mickey's for an early breakfast and then head to the Magic Kingdom by monorail, leaving the car at the Contemporary. Is this possible? I am not staying at the Contemporary but would not mind paying for parking there. Thank you!

Hello Michelle! It sounds like you have a great day planned!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to leave your car at the Contemporary for the day. When you arrive, you will check in with a guard and he or she will usually check for your reservation on a list, and issue you a guest parking pass good for about three hours. The parking lot at the Contemporary is not very big. I think the three hour limit is pretty strictly enforced, in order to insure guests staying at the Contemporary have available parking spaces.

My suggestion would be to drive to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) and park your car there. From the TTC, board the resort monorail to the Contemporary. Enjoy your breakfast at Chef Mickey's and afterwards you can either take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or walk there via the walkway between the resort and park.

    Enjoy Chef Mickey's!
