When we go back to WDW next year my 9 year old will be 10 and will have to order from the adult menu; however, he is very picky and likes the kids menus much better. Would he be allowed to order from the kids menu even though he will have an adult ticket?

    Hi Emily,

Yes. Anyone is allowed to order from the children's menu. There is no age requirement for this. My sixty-something year old mother often orders from the kids' menu at WDW simply because she likes the smaller portion size.

If you're paying out of pocket, simply order your son whatever he likes, and there will be no questions asked. If you're on the Disney Dining Plan, you may have to tell your server that although your son is an "adult" he prefers the children's food. They should be able to provide this for him with no problem.

Have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!
