I want to go see the baby tigers at Animal Kingdom! Is there a best day of the week to see them? Are they out everyday or do they have a schedule? So excited!!

    Hi Karen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

While all baby animals are adorable, there’s something so special about babies that are born to a critically endangered species like the Sumatran tiger. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the two new tiger cubs, Anala and Jeda, started appearing in their habitat at Maharajah Jungle Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the week of December 13th.

From what I understand, because they’re being introduced slowly to their new surroundings, their schedule is extremely variable and subject to frequent changes. From what I’ve seen of other baby animals who’ve been introduced into various habitats throughout the Park, the best chance to catch a glimpse of them is usually in the morning. There is usually a Cast Member located near the tiger habitat at this attraction, so be sure to ask them for an update. They won’t steer you wrong in your quest to feast your eyes on some tiger cuteness!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
