I want to go ahead and start paying on a Disney vacation but not sure what dates I want to go. I want to pick a date once my siblings are ready to go. Is there a way to start paying and pick a date later?

Hi, Brittany!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hEAR that you will soon be planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  There are so many exciting things taking place currently and in the not too distant future at the Walt Disney World Resort, so now more than ever, it's the perfect time to plan a visit.

Since the price of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package varies based on when you are visiting, you will need to know your travel dates before you can book and begin paying for your trip.  However, I think it is a great idea to begin saving for your magical vacation while you are settling on a date.  Perhaps you could purchase Disney gift cards with the money you wish to set aside for your trip.  Then you can put those gift cards toward your trip once you book it.

In the meantime, it's never too early to start getting ready for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.  There are some great online vacation planning resources that can help you prepare for your vacation.  You can also download the My Disney Experience mobile app.  This is a valuable tool during the planning phase and also once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort.

If we can answer any other planning questions for you, please don't hesitate to ask.  See ya real soon!
