Can you give pluses and minuses for the various All Star resorts? Recommendations?

    Hi, Nancy!

I just returned from a stay at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. I was so pleased with my stay. My room was clean and felt very fresh with all white linens. It was enjoyable seeing activity all around the resort: the bustling food court, families splashing in the pools, and kids tossing around balls on the fields. There was something at this resort for everyone! I had a standard room and the walk to the lobby/bus stop was about 5 minutes. Preferred rooms will put you closer to all the action and a shorter walk to the main areas.

Each of the All-Star Resorts (Sports, Music, and Movies) are identical except for theming. The exception is that Music has a few buildings dedicated to Family Suites which sleep up to 6 guests, have 2 full bathrooms, and a kitchenette. All other rooms at these 3 resorts are about 260 square feet, 2 double beds (or 1 king - must select at booking time), 1 bathroom sink, privacy curtain, and mini-fridge. The rooms are small but certainly have everything you will need for your stay. Feel free to take a stroll among these 3 resorts to see the fun themes that each offer.

The only advantage that Sports has is when the buses stop at all 3 resorts. Sports is the first along the route, followed by Music then Movies. However, during busy times of the day, each resort will have its own bus, so the order does not matter. Generally, Magical Express airport transportation will stop at all 3 for drop-off and pick-up.

Whichever you decide upon, I hope you enjoy your stay!
