Can you give me an idea of weather/temperatures? We are sailing on the Disney Dream, leaving March 13, 2017.

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

It is wonderful to be able to assist you again with another cruise question. In March, average temperatures for the Bahamas range from highs around 80 degrees to the mid 60s for the lows. The Disney Cruise Line Packing List is a great place to start when you pull out the suitcases for your Disney Dream sailing next month. I always suggest checking a weather website or weather app a couple of days before you depart so you can plan accordingly as weather can be unpredictable. It may be cool on deck in the evenings and in the lounges, theaters and dining venues, so it is always a good idea to bring a sweater or light jacket in case you get cold. I'm cold-natured so I have to plan for this even in the summer months! You will be happy to know that if the outside temperature drops below 75 degrees, the pools will be heated. The average water temperatures in the Bahamas for March range in the 70s so maybe a bit cool, but refreshing! I've been to Castaway Cay twice in March, and my kids didn't seem to mind!

I'm excited for your crew to embark on your Disney Dream sailing, Jennifer! I hope we've been helpful with your planning, and we encourage you to continue to send in any additional questions you may have about your cruise. Only about a month to go!

    Have a "Dreamy" day!
