    Ahoy, Pat!

What a wonderful and generous Christmas gift you will be giving to your family! While the Disney Cruise Line website does not have a printable for you, there is an ocean of ideas out there regarding gifting a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

Way back in 2009, before our family had ever taken a Disney Cruise, we decided to give our daughters a cruise for Christmas. We were embarking on the Disney Magic on January 16, so only a few short weeks after Christmas. For gifts, our girls received new luggage and a few cruise amenities (snorkel gear, swim cover up) and their final gift was a giant box that I had attached helium balloons into the bottom to rise up as they opened the top. The balloons had the words "Disney Cruise January 16" on them. The girls were SO excited!

I have seen ideas of a scavenger hunt to discover clues about a Disney Trip gift, as well as a puzzle that the family puts together to reveal the surprise. Here is a tip from the Disney Parks Blog as well. You can do a simple internet search using "how to surprise family with Disney Cruise" and you will see more ideas than you could ever possibly use!

Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay for onboard purchases, if you wanted to gift those as well.

I hope your family has a fabulous holiday season and a fantastic Disney Cruise Line vacation as well! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any more questions that arise before you set sail.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
