Hi moms, I have a girls trip pland for my self, two daughters ages 3 and 5 and my best friend August 20 -26th i know I need to bring sunscreen and light clothing but what eles would you recommend packing

    Hi Tausha,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Girl's trips are so much fun; you must be so excited! August in Florida is HOT, add in the humidity and it can get quite uncomfortable if you're not prepared for it. One of the most important things to do is to stay hydrated. Pack your own water bottles that can be refilled at the water fountains. I would also bring along a water-misting fan. They are available for Purchase at the Theme Parks, but you will save money by purchasing your own ahead of time. Another item you should consider packing is a hat, especially for the little ones, to shade you from the sun.

Visiting the Theme Parks first thing in the morning and later on in the evenings when the temperatures are cooler is a good idea. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours in the Parks. Each day select Theme Parks are open longer with extra hours added either in the morning or evening.

There are plenty of attractions that are indoors and have air-conditioned queues and activity areas, but be sure to make your FastPass+ selections for "must-do" attractions to avoid lengthy wait times. I would also take breaks from the Parks during the day for for pool time and naps. I hope this information helps!

    Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
