I have girls ages 2, 5, and 7.I have a feeling that the 2 & 5 will need a ride now and then in the parks.I am considering an outside rental company. Is the only downfall to that the inconvenience of transporting from resort to park? any referrals?? thx

Welcome to the Moms Panel Shannon!

I would be willing to bet that your 2 & 5 year old will be happy to have a ride in the parks & don't be surprised if your 7 year old sneaks in at times when there is an empty seat. The parks are really big & there is a lot of walking to do.

Strollers can be a bit of a hassle to fold up for Disney Buses & smaller boats but for me that is really the only drawback & the benefits outweigh that in my opinion. Sometimes your room can be a little walk from the bus stop & at the end of a pixie filled day, its nice to be able to put the kids in the stroller for the last leg of your day's journey.

I have never been a huge fan of the strollers for rent in the parks. They are hard plastic & aren't very conductive to taking a nap. Orlando Stroller Rentals offers a variety of strollers, will deliver to your resort & are typically very reliable.

Here's some stroller tips: While enjoying show & attractions, strollers must be parked in designated parking areas located throughout the parks. Cast Members (CMs) rearrange strollers in the parking areas to allow for maximum use of the space so don't panic if its not in the same spot you left it in. Most of the areas are without real boundaries. If you leave your stroller in a non-designated area, chances are a CM will move it for you to a designated area while you're on an attraction.

Never leave any valuables in your stroller. CMs assigned to stroller parking are not responsible for any belongings left in strollers. Tie a bright ribbon on your stroller to help you spot it more quickly when you return to designated parking areas. The rental company should provide some form of ID on your stroller. Don't leave open food in your stroller - squirrels & birds are very bold when searching for food.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
