Me & some girlfriends are spending a couple nights in Orlando soon. I want them to see a glimpse of Disney. We are staying offsite. Can you take Disney Trans. from Disney’s Springs to the parks and resorts? And are you allowed to walk around the resort

Hey there, Crystal, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you add some Disney magic to your upcoming girls' trip!

As much as I love exploring the Walt Disney World Resort with my family, I've made some amazingly pixie-dusted memories when I've visited with a group of girlfriends, too. There's just something extra special about celebrating our friendship in the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I know you'll have a blast treating your gal pals to a bit of Disney.

When it comes to getting around Walt Disney World, Disney doesn't provide direct transportation from Disney Springs to the Theme Parks, but you can travel from Disney Springs to any of the Resort hotels. You're perfectly welcome to wander the Resort hotels to your heart's content, and then jump on another bus, monorail, or boat from there to the Theme Parks. Also, if you choose to park in a Theme Park lot, you only need to pay the parking fee once, even if you plan to drive to another Theme Park later in the same day.

Crystal, Disney has a handy guide to Fun for Adults at Walt Disney World Resort that's just brimming with ideas you and your friends will love! And to prepare for your trip, have a look at the adorable Disney-inspired manicures that were featured on the Disney Parks Blog not too long ago. They'll definitely get you into vacation mode in style!

I hope this helps you have lots of Disney fun with your girlfriends, Crystal. Please come hang out with us again if you have any other questions. We always love to chat!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
