Me and my girlfriend are looking to visit WDW for the 1st time next year and spend 2 weeks at Port Orleans Riverside. We are debating having the Dining Plan for our stay. Do you think it is worth having this?

    Hi Matt!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the most magical place on earth! You will love Port Orleans - Riverside! I definitely think that the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) is well worth the money. We get the DDP when we visit and it saves time, money and stress! On the DDP you will get one Table Service, one Quick Service and one Snack credit per guest, per night of your stay.

Some of the Disney Dining locations require two Table Service credits, so while it may seem like a lot of meals for your stay, it will actually all balance at. For example, one day you may have a quick snack on the way to the park for breakfast, such as a bagel or a piece of fruit, which will count as a "Snack" credit. Then you may have a Quick Service lunch at Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom and then dinner at Tony's Town Square. The next day you may have Cinderella's Royal Table booked for breakfast, which is where you can dine in Cinderella Castle. Since that meal requires two Table Service credits (and is a large breakfast), you may just have a snack for lunch, such as a Mickey Mouse pretzel, and then an early dinner at Columbia Harbor House. Book your Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance.

    Magically,
    Stacy
