HI, me and my girlfriend are coming to Disney World for the first time this May. We've never been on a plane before or to the airport so we dont know the whole process of what to do. Can you walk me through the airport process?? What do we do first??

Congratulations on your upcoming trip which includes your first flight and WDW vacation!

If you booked your flights online, you'll be able to go the airline's website 24 hours before your flight time to check in, pay any luggage fees, select seats and print your boarding pass. These procedures may differ depending on your airline. For example, there are no fees when flying Southwest. No matter where you got your tickets, visit your airline's website to become familiar with their baggage policies, etc. Check your airport's website for suggested airport arrival times. Many airports suggests arriving for your flight 1.5 to two hours before your departure time.

At the airport, have your boarding pass and photo ID ready. Proceed to the desk to check in your luggage. Feel free to ask the agent any questions that you might have!

Next, you'll go to the security line. Again, have your boarding pass and Photo ID ready. You'll need to take of your shoes, jacket and put all of your items on the conveyor to be scanned. Just watch the people in front of you and follow their lead. If you have a laptop, you'll need to take it out of its bag. Any liquids or gels need to be in a small plastic bag. Visit your airport's website for details on what you can and can't bring on the plane.

You'll walk through a scanner, then pick up your items on the other side. At least once or twice in this line, you'll show your photo ID and boarding pass.

Once through security, proceed to your gate. If you have extra time, grab a bite to eat. There's not much food served on planes these days.

At the gate, wait until your plane begins boarding. You'll need to show your boarding pass only.

    Safe travels!
