I was gifted tickets for Mickys Not So Scary from a friend for our baby moon while we are in Disney. I know they give out candy/chocolate but my husband has a pretty severe milk allergy and I was wondering if they have any accommodations/options for him??

    Hi Lilith!

I'm so excited to hear that you will be enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It's my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom. The theme park comes alive with spooky magic that you and your husband will be able to enjoy during your visit. I hope you have added Memory Maker to your special trip so you can capture and save all of the special moments you and your husband have together during your babymoon!

My son has multiple food allergies, so I know how challenging it can be to accommodate a special diet, particularly at Halloween when there are an abundance of treats available that aren't safe for those with special diets! We have enjoyed Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party twice with my son and both of those nights were fantastic experiences for him. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does a fantastic job accommodating Guests who have food allergies and other special diets.

Guests can trick-or-treat in the trick-or-treat trails throughout the theme parks. If you do not have any food allergies, then you will pick up a standard treat bag from your first treat station and collect treats in each trail. The treat locations have special teal bags and teal treat tokens for Guests with allergies. Your husband can pick up his teal treat bag at the first trick-or-treat trail you visit and collect treat tokens throughout your evening. Then he can visit one of the allergy-friendly treat centers in the theme park to exchange his tokens for dairy-free treats. These allergy stations are located at Town Square Theater, which is located near Tony's Town Square Restaurant, and the Liberty Square Ticket Office, which you will find near The Hall of Presidents.

While availability is always subject to change, we have found a large variety of allergy-friendly treats available for Guests to enjoy. My son was particularly excited by the chocolate bars and gummy worms that he got that were dairy-free (and free from the other "top eight" allergens) and hopefully, that will be a tasty treat for your husband as well!

Lilith, be sure to plan on enjoying the party's incredible entertainment during your special evening. Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade is my favorite parade at Walt Disney World Resort, so I definitely recommend that you include it in your vacation itinerary!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue preparing for your visit. From all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, congratulations on your new little Mouseketeer!
