We are getting two rooms with family, one of my children will be in my moms room. Will I need to write a special authorization form stating he can get on or off the ship with her?  I'll be in the room next door to them.

Welcome aboard, Jodi! I love sailing with Disney Cruise Line and my immediate family, but we've had even more fun at sea when our extended family has joined us. Having your mom join your family for this exciting adventure with Captain Mickey will make your trip all the more memorable!

Disney is very good about keeping our children safe and part of that is ensuring that they only leave the ship with adults in their own stateroom. Since your child will be registered in your Mom's stateroom, that will show up when they scan their Key To The World Cards to leave the ship, so they will be welcome to debark together.

Parental Debarkation Forms must be completed by guests whose children will be leaving the ship with an adult other than one registered in their stateroom. You may need to complete this if your family heads off without your mother in one of the ports, since she is the only registered adult in your child's stateroom. Stop by Guest Services once onboard if you have any other questions about the form and the policy. It's a quick form and you'll then be all set to enjoy the ports of call!

I hope those details help as you begin planning this cruise, Jodi!
