We are getting ready to leave on the Disney Magic on the May 13 TA crossing. Is Disney planning anything special for the May 19 Royal Wedding? A special showing in the theater? Tea? thanks!

    Hi there, Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!  Your sailing is just around the corner and I know you must be absolutely thrilled about your long voyage across the Atlantic!  What a way to get to Europe!!  I love sea days so this is on my bucket list to do one day, hopefully in the near future!

The upcoming Royal Wedding is so exciting – nothing more magical than a new Princess being crowned!  There is not any information about activities currently planned for the event, but hopefully you’ll be able to catch it on tv during your sailing!  I would imagine it would be able to be viewed on the televisions in your stateroom (assuming signal is working!) and you could always order in some tea and cookies from Room Service to enjoy while watching!  Or gather a group of fellow Guests and head to one of the onboard lounges for your own Royal celebration!

Any special events or activities will be available once you board on your Personal Navigator or on the Navigator app, so I suggest checking once onboard for any specially planned events!  I know many times events are added in for longer sailings and this might just be an event worth celebrating!  I am sure there will be many other Guests alongside you wanting to watch and celebrate the new Royal Couple!

    Wishing you a MAGICal journey!

    Happy Sailing!
