Getting into Orl at 5 pm so thinking of doing boardwalk instead of DTDisney after check in. How would we get to boardwalk from AS Movies using complimentary transportation? Getting back? Any good quick service on the boardwalk? Moms(and Dad's) Panel Great!

    Hi Cinda,

The Boardwalk is a great place to spend some time while you are at the Walt Disney World Resorts. However, it is not easily accessible from other resorts. You would need to take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then take the boat or walk about 15 minutes to the area. To get home, you could take a bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer back to All Star Movies. Or you could take a taxi both ways.

For quick service, there is only the Pizza window. The other restaurants are all table service.

I can understand how with the time change you would want to burn a little energy but realistically you are looking at leaving your resort no sooner than 7:00 pm if everything is on time.

I like to spend the first day checking out the resort I am staying at so that we can head to bed and then wake up early for a full day of touring.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
