    Paul from CUMBRIA Asked

We are getting married out in orlando 23rd May 2011 and would really like to treat the kids (and ourselves) to the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party on the evening of our wedding. Will it still be on and if so where/when will I be able to book. Thanks

Hi, Paul! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials...I can't think of a better place to unite your family than at WDW! The Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party is a wonderful separately-priced event at the Magic Kingdom which gives you a guaranteed great view of the fireworks spectacular while being able to enjoy some rather tasty desserts, too.

The party usually is held nightly during the summer months. However, I have known of friends and family who have attended in the spring of this year, and from what I understand, Disney is accepting reservations throughout the fall as well.

Since your wedding day is more than 180 days from now, I would place an initial call to 407-WDW-DINE to inquire about the 2011 plans. Then, call back to make your reservations for the day you're requesting. Please know that there are separate prices for ages 10+ and 3-9 years, and pre-payment is required. There may be a price increase for peak seasons, and the Disney Dining Plan is not accepted.

I think this a marvelous idea to celebrate your special occasion. Blessings on you as you begin your life together. Have a wonderful day and a most magical celebration vacation!
