Getting in late on the 18th and dont want to use a ticket. Thinking about riding the monarail by getting dinner reservations at the Contemporary or Floridian. I was told if I have reservations we can park for free up to 3 hours. Has anyone done this?

    Hi there Rebecca!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I can certainly understand your concern in not wanting to pay for theme park admission on the evening of your arrival.  The answer to your question is yes. My family has done this very same thing many times in the past.  We love to enjoy dinner at a Magic Kingdom Resort and then ride the Resort Monorail loop following dinner. When you arrive at the resort, simply let the Gate Attendant know that you have an Advanced Dining Reservation and he/she will direct you to self-parking.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have in the days leading up to your trip. Best wishes for a magical vacation, Rebecca!

    Happy Travels,
