Getting confused :-( do I need to book all my DDP 180 days in adv? I have an itinerary for 14 days and 14 nights, meals at Epcot, Universal etc but wondering if we try and change from the plan will it be disastrous? Please help!

    Hi Justine!

One good thing about vacation plans is that you can modify them a million times until you get what you feel fits you perfectly.

Now, if you've already made dining reservations for the entire 2 weeks, modifying those could be a task if there's a large number you're looking to change. But Disney is very accommodating and are known to make every exception within reason to satisfy your requests.

For your Disney Dining Plan, you do NOT have to book all your reservations 180 days in advance. That date essentially means that is the earliest possible date you can secure any of the restaurants you're interested in. Now, we do encourage you to look to secure as many as early as possible, to ensure you have multiple options that matches your itinerary. As your vacation arrival date gets closer, those options become fewer and fewer, particularly for those guest favorite restaurants like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort.

My suggestion is to choose your MUST HAVE restaurants, and try to secure those reservations as close to the 180 date as possible. The others you can allow yourself some wiggle room, until you're sure how you want your other activities to play out.

    Best of luck to you!
