I am getting conflicting answers. The boat from wl to fw will accomadations a scooter correct? What about the boat from wl to contemp and poly? Some say yes some say no I need a definite answer thank u!

    Hi Stephanie,

There are two types of boats that sail on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake between the parks and resorts: Motor Launches and Water Cruisers.  Motor Launches are smaller boats that provide transportation between the Magic Kingdom and several different resorts. They don't accommodate ECVs, and wheelchairs must be folded prior to boarding.

Water Cruisers are larger boats that run from Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. They do accommodate ECVs, unless the water levels are low.  However, reading the transportation page, I don't think the same boat makes stops at both Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.  Green flag boats go to Fort Wilderness, and red flag boats go to Wilderness Lodge.  So I would say that the boat from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness is a smaller motor launch and cannot accommodate an ECV.

You would need to travel by motor cruiser or bus to Magic Kingdom, and then transfer to a different boat or bus to get to Fort Wilderness.  Now, if you are traveling by boat to Magic Kingdom, you can certainly ask the cast members if there is an easier way to travel.

The quickest way to get to Contemporary and Polynesian Resorts would be to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a monorail.  Actually, you can even take the walking path to Contemporary from Magic Kingdom.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
