Hello Monica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.
You are definitely a vacation planning rockstar! I love getting into the parks as soon as I arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort too. Before you leave your point of departure you will want to make sure that you have everything you will need to enter the parks or visit Disney Springs in a carry-on bag. Be sure to tag your checked bags with the Magical Express luggage tags before checking your luggage with your airline. This will also include your
MagicBands! When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you will proceed directly to
Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Center. A Cast Member will check you in to board the motorcoach. You will also need your MagicBand to unlock the door to your hotel room and access your theme park admission tickets.
You can speed up the check-in process by starting the
Online Resort Check-In process before you arrive. When you arrive at your Disney Resort Hotel, you can stop by the front desk to see if your room is ready. Even though check-in is not until 3:00 p.m., it would not hurt to ask. If your room is not ready, you can leave any carry-on bags with bell services, that you do not want to take into the parks with you. Disney’s Magical Express will deliver your checked luggage to your room when it arrives, typically 3 to 4 hours after you land. When you return to your room, your bags will be waiting for you. Bell services will deliver any remaining carry on items at your request.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
