I want to take my future grandson and my other half to Disney ...but i am not understanding pricing and if you have to pay to get into each park or the best packages. I am looking into this now to get an Idea of how it works for when the time comes. Thanks

    Hi Tammy!

First off, a super double ch-EAR-s on your soon-to-be-here Mouseketeer! One of the first things my mom said after we told her she was going to be a grandmother was "I cannot wait to take him to Disney World someday." My parents finally made their way to Mickey's House with us in March and it was oh so special to watch them watch the Magic of Disney come to life through their baby's baby.

Currently, Theme Park Ticket pricing varies based on what you'd like to do. You can buy everything from a one-day ticket that allows admission to just one park for one price, to a 10-day Park Hopper ticket. Multi-day tickets allow you to redeem your days however you'd like within 14 days of their first use. You can go to the theme parks on day 1 and 2 of your vacation, skip the parks on day 3, then go back on days 4 and 5. Park Hopper tickets mean that you can visit multiple parks in a single day. Sometimes my family will spend the morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom then 'hop' over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for dinner and nighttime fun.

One of the first things I recommend is to figure out how long you'd like to visit and then go from there. Don't forget to check out the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to get some other pricing ideas that way. And if I can offer a pro tip: try to visit before your grand baby's third birthday as children under age three are free!

I hope this helped in getting you on the right starting track, Tammy. Please come back to ask us more of your Walt Disney World planning questions as we love to talk all things Disney!
