I see that the funnel puddle is not considered a "pool" on the disney dream and fantasy (according to the website). Are little ones allowed in this, unlike the bigger pools? I will be traveling with a 6 month old and 2 year old. thank you

    Ahoy Morgan!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am glad you sailed back with another great question today!  How exciting that you and your pirates-in-training are planning to sail with Captain Mickey.  I am sure the excitement is growing in your house as the countdown continues to shrink!

I know my little ones are always asking to head to the pool as soon as we get onboard the ship.  I am sure your littles will want to jump in and start splashing as well.  To enjoy pool time - even in the Funnel Puddle wading pool - pirates do need to be fully toilet trained.  Swim diapers are not allowed in the Funnel Puddle.

There is a great space onboard both the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy for little ones to get in some splash time.  Nemo's Reef is an interactive splash pad located on Deck 11 on both ships.  This space is covered to protect your pirates from the sun where they can enjoy bubblers, jets and fountains.  They even have the opportunity to slide down Mr. Ray, the singing science teacher from Finding Nemo.  I am sure there will be lots of giggles as they enjoy their time with Nemo and all his friends.

After some fun in the water, head on over to Eye Scream to have some complimentary ice cream.  Even better, grab some soda from the complimentary drink station, add some ice cream and enjoy a float on the pool deck!  It will be a great treat after all that splashing!

Enjoy making magical memories with your pirates-in-training!  Bon voyage!  Angie
