Helena,
I was excited to see this question as my mind was racing with ideas for you. Walt Disney World Resort is so much more than just the four theme parks! So, let's get started.
Since I am not sure the size of your party or if there will be children, I'll suggest a variety of activities that would appeal to a variety of ages.
One of my all-time favorite activities is
parasailing at the Contemporary Resort marina. I had the best time doing this on my honeymoon. The views of the Magic Kingdom and the surrounding resorts were spectacular and it was an unforgettable experience. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
For the younger set, there are various programs and adventures. There is the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian where kids can make and eat cupcakes and have tea with some beloved characters from Alice in Wonderland. For pirate loving buccaneers, there are several adventures like the
Albatross Treasure Cruise at the Yacht Club marina. Some of activities are for kids ages 4-12 and they must be potty-trained.
My last recommendation would be miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens or
Disney's Winter Summerland. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the theming of these fun courses while having some downtime away from the crowds in the theme parks.
So, go and explore some things that you might not have realized were out there!
