What are some fun activities to do in the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT or Disney's Boardwalk area, for me, my husband, our preschooler and his grandparents? There are a few of us with mobility issues, and we are taking it slow during our vacation.

    Hi Catherine,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort with grandparents are just magical. On our girls' first trip we had grandparents along with us.

Since my husband has mobility challenges, we often take it slow in the parks and we plan with geography in mind - we try to avoid trekking back and forth across any park. So, here is my advice! At Magic Kingdom, take some time to enjoy the shops along Main Street, U.S.A. and then stroll through Cinderella Castle. Make your Fast Pass+ selections for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Doing so will keep you in the same general area of Fantasyland for a while. While in Fantasyland, your little one could enjoy the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station. And if your preschooler is at least 35 inches tall, he could also ride The Barnstormer.

At Epcot, we often spend most of our time in Future World. When our girls were younger, they loved Innoventions. I loved it because it was air-conditioned! Journey into Imagination with Figment is a fun ride for guests of any height. Turtle Talk with Crush is also great for preschoolers as is Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Spaceship Earth. On our first trip with our girls, that was our entire Epcot experience. They had a blast and we did not leave exhausted!

Catherine, at Disney's BoardWalk area, there are so many cute shops, dining locations and activities. My favorite activity would have to be eating the delicious treats you can get at Ample Hills Creamery and BoardWalk Bakery. If you have any sports fans in your group, stop by and grab a bite to eat at the ESPN Club!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
