what is the frozen summer all about in hollywood studios, im thinking of taking my soon to be 3year old daughter in augst. but i want to make sure that its worth her enjoyment. also is it a extra cost, just wondering if its a show or what it is? thank you

    Hey Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us this great question.

I was able to attend some of the events of the Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! at Disney's Hollywood Studios this week and I can tell you it's definitely a "big summer blowout". From the Royal Welcome at 11:00 a.m. to the Frozen fireworks in the evening, I think your daughter will thoroughly enjoy her time with the royals from Arendelle.

    Some of the events include:
    • Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome where the royals are welcomed to the kingdom of Hollywoodland
    • For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sign-Along Celebration at the Premiere Theater
    • Oaken's Frozen Funland - Ice skating ($10 for 30 minutes) and snowman building... in Florida... in July! (The price to ice skate includes ice skates, socks and a helmet.)
    • Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party on the Icon Stage in front of the Sorcerer's Hat
    • The night culminates with a visit from Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and a special guest as they kickoff the Frozen Fireworks all set to the Frozen soundtrack.

Don't forget to stop by Wandering Oaken's Trading Post located at Soundstage One for a wonderland of Frozen merchandise.

All of these events are included in the cost of your theme park admission except where I stated above. I hope this helps with your decision. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
