We would like do see a Frozen show with Anna and Elsa and we only plan to go to one park. What park is our best option for this in January?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mandy!

My son is absolutely obsessed with Elsa, and we cannot wait to go “into the unknown” when Frozen 2 opens on November 22. Frozen shows and attractions are must-dos for my family when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and I’m as excited as Anna on Coronation Day to share my thoughts on how to find Frozen fun on your upcoming visit.

If seeing a Frozen show is your priority, then you won’t want to miss For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Royal Historians of Arendelle do a hilarious retelling of the story of our favorite sisters, and we get to sing-along with each song in the story. Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff also appear in the show, and there are some very special surprises that make it just magical. My family almost always sees this show twice because it’s just that good.

Having said that, your Frozen fans might also love to ride Frozen Ever After, which is a wonderful boat ride through Arendelle and up to the North Mountain to see Elsa in her Ice Castle. From the moment you enter the queue, you’re immersed in the world of Arendelle, and it’s truly special. Just next door, you can meet Anna and Elsa in their Royal Sommerhus, which is full of lovely details from the sisters’ childhood. They’re really fun to meet and talk to!

Mandy, I know you said you’re planning to visit only one park, but what about a park hopper ticket? This way, you could visit both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in one day and fit in all this Frozen fun. My family frequently “hops” between these two parks – it’s easy to do using the complimentary Disney transportation, and you can even walk between the parks.

My other piece of advice is to take a look at each theme park’s web site to see where you’d like to spend your time. With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and lots of great Hollywood-themed attractions, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has lots to offer. Epcot features the World Showcase, where you can explore several countries’ customs, food, and even some films and attractions, and you can also soar high above the earth on Soarin’ Around the World or design your own car and go for a wild ride on Test Track. If you need help deciding, please come back and see us – let us know the ages of any kiddos visiting with you, and their favorite movies and characters, and we would be very happy to help you make your plans.

From one Frozen fan to another, I hope your visit is filled with all kinds of magic!
